Tuesdays:

June 5th, 12th, 19th  Beginning-Intermediate (begintermediate) Lindy

This class is awesome for new dancers and those who have taken beginning/intermediate lindy courses with us in the past. On day 1 we’ll learn the basic and a new turn. Day 2 well learn a different basic pattern and a new turn. Day 3 we’ll work on combos. We love sharing our lindyhop joy with the community!

15$ drop in or $40 for all 3 includes the social dance and practice session. Advance registration and online payment can occur here. Online registration and payment ends at 12 on Tuesday. Cash or Check accepted in person. No bills over 100 unless you are paying for 2 people. Register Here

July 17th and 24th Partner Charleston 

This course will teach the basics of partner charleston (including the basic steps and getting ‘in’ as well as ‘out’ of the charleston from either east coast or lindy.

$15 drop in or 2 for 25$ includes 1 hour social dance after the lesson.

There is nothing more powerful, connective, and playful than swing dancing.

Beginning Balboa 5 week series

January 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and February 6th

Tuition is $60. The series is progressive and fantastic! Balboa is a great rhythmic dance for dancers of all levels and, can even be said to be ‘easier’ on the body than other more athletic swing dances, making it the ideal dance for dancers of all ages as well.

Lessons in Louisville starting November

Lessons are Beginning this November 2017. You can register here.

A fun and inspirational series for those looking to learn lindy hop and to be part of a vibrant and welcoming community. Dates: Nov 14, 21, 28th and Dec 5th &12th.

This series is 5 weeks long, consisting of 5 one hour lessons covering the basic steps and turns/shapes of Lindy Hop.

There will be a one hour social dance after each lesson that all members of the community are encouraged to attend.

Tuition is $60: it coveres the series and the dances. Lessons are sold as a series so that students are gauranteed a progressive cirriculum and can develop friendships with consistent attendance.

Dances are drop in and are $5. A mix of beginner friendly swing era style Jazz with a primary beat per minute range of 110-160 will be played. Lindyhop, Charleston, Slow Balboa, and some Shag will be the main styles of dance catered to by DJ’s.

*Dancers wishing to volunteer in exchange for participation or entry are encouraged to PM Emily Schuhmann.
